Skydiving over the stunning Gold Coast, Australia is on many people’s bucket list and for the world’s elite parachutists, it is now a reality.

Catering for both National and International competitions, the Australian WPC is a world-class Skydiving competition facility on the beautiful, world-renowned Gold Coast of Australia.

Providing for both the local skydiving community and skydivers from all over the world the WPC is located at the Sports Super Centre in the suburb of Runaway Bay, right in the heart of the City of The Gold Coast.

It is like no other skydiving facility in the world - where skydivers are able to pack their parachutes and practice their routines before leaping from aircraft some 14,000 feet above the stunning Gold Coast City before landing back at the Sports Super Centre.

Spectators are able to watch the action at the city-based drop zone, see the skydives on the big screen TV’s and interact with competitors.

It’s a great new addition to Queensland’s Sporting facilities secured by the Palaszczuk Government through Tourism Queensland in partnership with the City of Gold Coast.

The Sports Super Centre was built at Runaway Bay, just north of Surfers Paradise, as a training base for athletes from all over the world competing in the 2000 Sydney Olympics. The centre’s gym, pools and facilities are now used by the local community and travelling teams and groups from all over the world.

The Gold Coast has something for everyone, from Australia’s best beaches, rainforests and waterways to world-class theme parks, sporting venues, convention services, shopping precincts, a diverse range of events and now a world-class Skydiving Competition venue.
